CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

Imagen
I am currently pursuing my sixth semester of forestry engineering at the faculty of forestry and nature conservation. In that semester, I took nine branches in total, of which six are mandatory and the rest are elective ("Nursery Workshop", "Methods of Job Self-care for Future Professionals" and "English level B1+"). Of all the branches, the one that is more difficult for me is "Forest Dynamics", not because of the subject taught by the teachers, but because of the little interaction and variation they have at the time of teaching the class, which is extremely difficult for me to take care of the three and a half hours, in addition to being my last classes, therefore, there should be a change in teaching methods in most teachers and improve the schedule Thirdly, I believe that some changes should be made to the infrastructure of the faculty, such as building more study rooms, that there are more comfortable chairs and tables in the classrooms an

TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST 🍄🐒👪

Imagen
As physics puts many problems to travel to the past, but gives us some options to travel to the future, obviously if I were given the opportunity to do something impossible or extremely far from being possible, like traveling to the past I would do it without hesitation because I would like to meet my family ancestors. I imagine myself as a vision fast forward where I can see my great-grandparents, great-great-grandparents (and if possible, chat for a while with each one, know their cultures and beliefs) and so on, until I reach homo sapiens sapiens, so I would not stay in a single era, but I would go through several to meet and chat with my ancestors until I reach human evolution. Also, I would like to know if it is true or not the theory of "the drugged monkey", which I saw one day in a Netflix series, which is that homo sapiens sapiens ate hallucinogenic mushrooms to expand their consciousness and intelligence, that is, the consequence of consuming hallucinogenic mushrooms

MY DREAM JOB

Imagen
I don't really know what my dream job is and it's a little frustrating because I'm in the third year of my degree, which is forestry engineering. I think my dream job could be something related to ecotourism, but I'm not sure because this career has a large field of work that I don't know in its entirety. If it were the case, I would like to work in natural reserves, natural parks or sanctuaries, that is, wild areas protected by the SNASPE (National System of Wild Areas Protected by the State) so I will be a public worker, but I don't know if it will be for the rest of my life. Obviously I would like to earn a lot of money, from a million upwards I would be satisfied. Ideally I would like my work to be close to home so that I have the advantage of going there by private transport, either by car or van, although normally the protected wilderness areas are located in the mountains so it would be better to go by van. I imagine that there will be a good work environ

The best holiday ever

Imagen
This picture is a memory of the best vacation I have ever lived and it is from January 4th of last year and it was on the beach of Pichidangui with my grandfather, my aunt, my little cousin, my parents, my older sister with her boyfriend, my middle sister, our pet named Laky and my boyfriend. We arrived in Pichidangui on January thirty at night and the day before the new year we started to prepare a barbecue in the cabins we rented and then eat and go to the shore of the beach to sit and wait until it was twelve o'clock and watch the fireworks show, toast with champagne and hug each other. For the latter are my best vacations, it is dreamy to spend the new year on the sandy beach with your loved ones, specifically Pichidangui because it is a very large bay and quiet because there are not many people. When it was windy we went to the cabins to continue celebrating, I remember that we all danced in the dark because the electricity had been cut off, after that we had fun for a while w

Queenstown, NZ!

Imagen
I would like to visit New Zealand, specifically Queenstown, a city belonging to the Otago region located in the southwest of the South Island of New Zealand. In fact I have relatives there, a cousin and her family went to live in Queenstown in October last year, they are about to celebrate almost a year in NZ! I would like to visit Queenstown to see my cousin and see different attractive places such as: Lake Wanaka: it has crystal clear waters ideal for hiking, kayaking, skiing, rafting, skydiving and any adventure sport. The Ben Lomond Track: a full day trekking route that allows you to climb one of the most emblematic mountains in the south of NZ. Queenstown is an ideal base for exploring nearby South Island destinations such as Milford Sound (NZ's most famous fjord) and Fiordland National Park, historic Arrowtown and the wineries of Central Otago.  A curious fact that my cousin told me, was that in Glenorchy were filmed some legendary scenes of the trilogy of "The Lord of

iNaturalist: Website or App ❤

Imagen
iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/) is an app and website that provides a place to record and organize nature finds, meet other nature enthusiasts, and learn about the natural world. It is also a joint initiative of the California Academy of Sciences and the National Geographic Society. I started using it in the pandemic, but I don't remember how I knew of its existence haha. I have uploaded some logs, but earlier this year I used it more for an internship II job on the Frutillar property. I use the website every time I go hiking or just see an interesting species around town. link video tutorials: https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/video+tutorials I like it because every observation can contribute to the biodiversity of science, from the rarest butterfly to the most common backyard weed. It is also very easy to use, you just need a mobile or tablet, download the app, create an account and then go out and photograph any species that intrigues you to find out its name, origin,

I love white beans!!!

Imagen
I really like white beans, in all their possible forms hahaha, it is difficult for me to choose just one dish knowing that it is a very versatile and tasty legume.  I don't know if I have tried all possible preparations with beans, but the ones I have tried are beans with rein, beans with mazamorra, bean salad, bean cream, bean hummus and bean burger. I love all of these dishes equally. Beans and actually, all legumes, are my source of protein because I am vegan for three years and before deciding to stop eating any food of animal origin, I was always picky about meat, in fact when I was little I remember that my parents forced me to eat it because according to them I would not have strength if I did not eat it, I do not blame them, they are from another education. So to my health white beans affect me in a positive way because they are one of the legumes that provide me with proteins, besides containing other micronutrients such as iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc and phosphorus.
