iNaturalist: Website or App ❤
iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/) is an app and website that provides a place to record and organize nature finds, meet other nature enthusiasts, and learn about the natural world. It is also a joint initiative of the California Academy of Sciences and the National Geographic Society. I started using it in the pandemic, but I don't remember how I knew of its existence haha. I have uploaded some logs, but earlier this year I used it more for an internship II job on the Frutillar property. I use the website every time I go hiking or just see an interesting species around town. link video tutorials: https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/video+tutorials I like it because every observation can contribute to the biodiversity of science, from the rarest butterfly to the most common backyard weed.
